Changes & Cancellations


Organizations that no longer need space they have reserved are responsible for canceling their reservations promptly so that other groups can use our facilities.

  • UW-Platteville groups failing to cancel twice during a semester will lose facility use privileges and will be responsible for any room rentals and incurred charges, if applicable.
  • Non-university organizations or guests failing to cancel space within the timeline as indicated will be responsible for room rentals and any incurred charges. Groups will also forfeit room deposits.
  • A $30 fee is charged to all groups making significant changes to their requests less than two weeks from the date of their events. A $60 fee is charged to groups making significant changes less than one week from their event. A $60 fee is charged to groups failing to cancel their reservation.

UW-Platteville may cancel reservations during inclement weather. The Event Reservations staff will do their best to inform groups of a weather-related shutdown.
