ITS Mainenance Outages: Various down August 23; Extended - Perceptive Content, August 23-25

Various systems will be down for maintenance during the weekly window from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23. In addition, Perceptive Content will be unavailable beginning at 5:00 p.m. and extending through the weekend for a system upgrade.
Systems affected during the 5:00 window include:
- PASS - regular updates
- BI - regular updates
- Network storage - brief intermittent outages affecting:
- S: - Shared1
- J: - User1
- H: - App1
- K: - Acad1
- V: - Trees1
- M: - Media1
- T: - Tech1
- NOTE: To protect data integrity, do not edit files on the network storage during this outage.
- Network printers: server updates; if you cannot print, wait a few minutes and try again
NOTE: Due to the release of vendor updates and patches outside ITS
control, any university system may experience brief intermittent
outages. Because these updates may be released any time it is not
possible to include them all in this list.
If you are not able to access a system during the maintenance hour, please wait a couple of minutes and try again. If you continue to experience problems, please contact the ITS Help Desk.
Extended outage -- Perceptive Content -- August 23-25
ITS will upgrade Perceptive Content from version 7.1.3 to 7.2.3
beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23. The process is expected to
take all weekend. Perceptive Content should be up and running by the
start of business day Monday, Aug. 26.
When the system comes back up, a new client will be required to connect. The interface of the new client will look exactly as you are used to seeing. The new client will be available in Software Center. To install the new client:
- Click the “Start” button in the lower left corner of your scree and enter “Software Center"
- Open Software Center
- Choose “Install Perceptive Content Client 7.2.3”
WebNow will be accessible through Internet Explorer. To access WebNow, you must copy and paste the link below into the Internet Explorer browser:
