ITS Update: Is this Form 1098T email legitimate?

The ITS Help Desk has had several inquiries regarding an email with Subject: New Tax Document (1098T) Notification for UW-Platteville from an @cuprint.com address.
This is a legitimate email regarding your tax documents.
Per an email sent to students from Campus Updates on Friday morning, Jan. 17, this email is secure and will contain a digital signature from the University of Wisconsin System.
The email will contain a hyperlink to a secure e-Statement website and directions for logging into the website. After logging in to the e-Statement website you will be able to view and print copies of your 1098-T tax form. Even if you are not ready to use the 1098-T form, please view and print it before January 29, 2020.
Whenever you receive an unexpected message from an individual or organization, it is a good idea to go directly to the alleged source to verify whether the message is legitimate.
