ITS Update: ITS Help Desk hours changing February 15

Beginning Monday, Feb. 15, the ITS Help Desk will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday for walk-ins on the Platteville campus as well as phone calls and emails. Staff will continue to monitor voicemail from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday for urgent technical issues, specifically those that impact classroom activities.

The ITS Help Desk mission has not changed. We strive to provide quality customer service and technical support to the UW-Platteville communities from all three campuses and online.  This change in operations comes after a careful review of our call volume in light of budget constraints and previous staff reductions.  We will pilot the shorter hours until the end of the spring semester at which time we will re-evaluate the change.
