Introducing "Tech Support" on Pioneer Portal

Beginning Tuesday morning, July 20, the new ITS ticketing system, Alemba Service Manager, will be live, including the customer self-service portal for submitting incident reports, phishing attempts, and requests for service. Students, employees, guest account holders, and emeriti will access Alemba self-service through a new “Tech Support” application button on the Pioneer Portal.
Search Pioneer Portal for "Tech Support" now. Why not add the “Tech Support” button to your customized Portal for even easier access?!
Login is required for Alemba self-service. Once logged in, you can
- monitor your existing calls (Alemba’s term for tickets)
- make a request,
- log an IT call from one convenient place
- approve tasks
- view a list of university-issued devices (coming soon for employees only)
Can I still call or email the ITS Help Desk?
To utilize the new system most effectively, we strongly recommend submitting future calls through “Tech Support” on the Pioneer Portal. However, you can still reach the ITS Help Desk at 608.324.1400 or firstname.lastname@example.org. And of course, visitors are welcome to our Karrmann Library location on the main campus. (Call ahead this summer!)
