ITS Update: Qualtrics email workflows not working 02.28.22 UPDATED 03.04.22

UPDATE 9:14AM on Friday, March 4 -- With no further reports of issues with Qualtrics email, it appears the problem has been resolved. If that status changes, a new message will be posted.

Update 9:18AM Wednesday, March 2 - Per the Qualtrics Status page, email services are now working as expected. On campus testing indicates email notifications are working. This message will remain up until we are confident the issue is resolved.

Update 4:00PM Monday, Feb. 28 - It seems the server issue may be affecting all email communications from Qualtrics. Per Qualtrics, the issue is causing the survey emails to be blocked or marked as spam.  They have identified the root cause and are working to resolve it.  Please visit https://www.qualtrics.com/status/ for ongoing updates, which can be seen by clicking on the yellow status indicators.

We have had several reports from campus customers who have not received expected email notifications from their Qualtrics surveys since mid-day Thursday, Feb. 23.  These notifications may have been set up as workflows or email triggers.Qualtrics Support has confirmed this is a known issue related to an increase of recent activity on their servers.  They are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. There is no ETA on when that might happen.

Qualtrics will notify our campus brand admin when the issued is resolved, and an update will be posted here.

In the meantime, sadly, the only workaround is to manually check your active surveys for submissions.
