ITS Reminder: Duo phone calls to be disabled on April 11

The Duo phone call option for two-factor authentication will be disabled at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 11. If you have been using the phone call method, please make sure you have an alternative method set up prior to Monday to ensure no disruption in your day. ITS will hold a drop-in help session on the second floor of The Markee from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 7. No registration required.

Options

If you have a smart phone or tablet, download the Duo app and choose push notifications or pass codes.

If you do not have a smart phone but have a cell phone with texting capabilities, choose SMS texting.

If you do not have a cell phone or tablet, please request a hardware token ("fob") by emailing the ITS Help Desk at helpdesk@uwplatt.edu

  • NOTE: Issuing a fob requires a scheduled visit to the Help Desk with two forms of identification. If this is your only option, contact the ITS Help Desk as soon as possible.
