IT Update: PASS outage Nov 15

At 3:19 this afternoon the database that services PASS was inadvertently rebooted, bringing PASS down. The database immediately came back up, and system administrators were able to bring PASS back up within 6 minutes. PASS was restored at 3:25 p.m.
There does not appear to be any loss of data. However, transactions in progress at the time of the outage should be validated. Students who may have been registering for classes at the moment of the reboot should check that their selections were processed.
