On Wednesday, January 14 and Thursday, January 15, Information Technology Services (ITS) and the Instructional Center for Educational Technologies (ICET) will again be hosting Technology Mashup. This winterim event features an afternoon of "pre-events" followed by a day of campus technology topics of interest to instructional and non-instructional staff, targeting new and seasoned technology users alike.
January 14: New! Pre-Mashup Panel Discussions
New this season, ITS and ICET are sponsoring two Pre-Mashup Panel Discussions on Wednesday, January 14, 2015:2:00 Tech Talks - Short presentations of lesser-known campus resources with time for Q/A
3:15 Teaching and Learning Connections with Technology - Faculty and instructors at UW-Platteville discuss their innovative uses of technology to enhance student learning

Scheduled workshops cover new campus technologies like Office 365, closed captioning, and PhotoShop as well as campus standards like Desire2Learn, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. New topics include HRS/My UWSystem, Travel Expense Report (TER), and Flipping the Classroom – Invigorating Class Time (with the Teaching & Learning Center).Recommended for new employees!
