ITS Update - Outlook Web App icons disappearing

The ITS Help Desk has received reports that "pinned" icons in Outlook Web App are disappearing from the navigation bar even though the app launcher indicates the apps are pinned. We have not found a rhyme or reason for this, and it is not occurring consistently.
Some people have found success unpinning and re-pinning the apps, though this is not consistent either.
The app launcher is a relatively new feature for Microsoft, so there are likely bugs to work out. We will update our documentation as more information becomes available. In the meantime, if your icons disappear from your nav bar, you may still use your app launcher to navigate to other apps.
