Computer labs are an important component to students' learning at UW-Platteville. Currently our campus maintains approximately 1,458 computer systems while experiencing a number of changes in recent years:

  • Students bringing more computing devices to campus.
  • ITS rolling out the Virtual Desktop which provides access to lab software on personal devices.
  • An increasing need for upgrades to lab equipment and software.

Given these changes, the Information Technology Prioritization committees (made up of faculty, administration and information technology representatives) felt it was important to evaluate these computer labs for potential reduction, redesign, or elimination.

Please take a few minutes to complete a lab evaluation survey between Monday, April 27 and Sunday, May 3.

You may participate in two ways:

In-lab: Complete a survey from any lab computer when you visit. Click on the desktop icon for UW-Platteville Lab Evaluation Survey. You may submit one survey for each visit to any lab.

On-the-go: Complete the general lab evaluation survey at http://bit.ly/UWPLabEvaluationGeneral. If you choose this method, please submit one survey for each lab you use.

Thank you in advance for your participation.  Your honest feedback will assist the University in future decision-making.  If you have questions about the Lab Evaluation Project, please contact Tonya Stappert, project manager, at stappert@uwplatt.edu.
