ITS Maintenance Outages: Various down January 13; Extended - Unified Communications/phones - January 13

The following systems will be down during the scheduled IT maintenance window from 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13:

  • Password Self-Service - updates
  • Business Intelligence - updates
  • Network storage - brief intermittent outages affecting
    • S: - Shared1
    • J: - User1
    • H: - App1
    • K: - Acad1
    • V: - Trees1
    • M: - Media1
    • T: - Tech1
    • NOTE: To protect data integrity, do not edit files on the network storage during this outage.
NOTE: Due to the release of vendor updates and patches outside ITS control, any university system may experience brief intermittent outages.  Because these updates may be released any time it is not possible to include them all in this list.
 
If you are not able to access a system during the maintenance hour, please wait a couple of minutes and try again.  If you continue to experience problems, please contact the ITS Help Desk.

Extended - Unified Communications/Phones - 5:00 - 10:00 p.m.

UW-Platteville and UW-Whitewater staff will be performing updates to the Unified Communication systems from 5:00 - 10:00 p.m. on Friday evening, Jan. 13.  While we do not anticipate a system-wide disruption in service, each phone will receive an update.  The phone update will take 2-5 minutes and will be completed while your phone is idle.
