ITS Maintenance Outages: PASS, BI down July 14; Extended - SFS/E-Reimbursement July 16; Data Warehouse July 20; PASS July 27

The following systems will be down during the scheduled IT maintenance window from 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday, Jul. 14:
- PASS - regular updates
- BI - regular updates
NOTE: Due to the release of vendor updates and patches outside ITS control, any university system may experience brief intermittent outages. Because these updates may be released any time it is not possible to include them all in this list.
If you are not able to access a system during the maintenance hour, please wait a couple of minutes and try again. If you continue to experience problems, please contact the ITS Help Desk.
Non-ITS Extended Outage - SFS/E-Reimbursement (Travel) down July 16UW-Madison Division of Information Technology (DoIT) will be performing network server maintenance from 12: 00 - 8:00 a.m on Sunday, July 16. This maintenance will result in intermittent outages of SFS which will affect anyone trying to complete an expense report using E-Reimbursements (Travel).
Looking ahead - Extended outage - Data Warehouse down beginning July 20 - BI affectedOn Thursday, Jul. 20 ITS staff will be moving the Data Warehouse to its new server in preparation for the scheduled PASS 9.2 upgrade on July 27. The process will begin at approximately 11:30 a.m on Thursday, Jul. 20 and is expected to take several days.
During the outage period, data for Business Intelligence (BI) will not refresh. We recommend you do NOT run BI reports while the outage is underway. Please share this information within anyone in your area who may be affected.
Every effort will be made to restore service as quickly as possible. A notice will be posted on the BI landing page when the process is completed.

Looking ahead - Extended outage - PASS 9.2 down beginning July 27 (tentative)The upgrade to PASS 9.2 is tentatively set to begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jul. 27 and continue until completed. The process is expected to take a couple of days. During this time PASS and PASS Express will not be available. More details will be posted to the PASS landing page and included in next week's maintenance message.
