ITS Alert 02.28.18: D2L not working in Firefox; use Chrome or IE [RESOLVED 10:40 a.m.]

The issue affecting D2L in certain browsers was resolved as of 10:40 a.m. Network Engineers made a configuration change to the infrastructure. D2L should work in all browsers going forward. If you experience problems, please report them to the ITS Help Desk.

Desire2Learn is not working this morning in Firefox. Learn@UW suggests using Chrome or IE until the issue is resolved. [This list has been revised.]

10:00 a.m.

Investigation continues and DoIT is working with the vendor to resolve the issue.  The following browsers are still affected:
  • Firefox: 58.0.2
  • IE: 11.2007.14393.0
  • Edge: 38.14393.1066.0

9:10 a.m.

Investigation of the behavior impacting access to Learn@UW / D2L and other UW-Madison hosted web services remains ongoing this morning. Though fewer, issues have also been discovered using Internet Explorer (IE) and Edge. 

8:04 a.m.

The issue is affecting other systems and campuses across UW-System. The DoIT team at UW-Madison is investigating and will send updates as they become available.
