Renos and Upgrades: Summer 2018

A number of computer labs, classrooms, and meeting spaces are scheduled for everything from small upgrades to full renovations, including the Bears Den and Hempel Collaboratory.
The Bears Den will be upgraded to new all-in-one computer units; computers from the Den will then replace older units in Karrmann B06 (the basement lab). The Bears Den will be closed from May 21-25. Karrmann B06 will be unavailable from May 29-31.
Hempel Collaboratory will experience a complete renovation, increasing from 16 computers in two rows to 24 in six pods (not including the presenter station). New A/V equipment and furniture are also planned. To achieve these major changes, Hempel is scheduled to be offline from June 23 to August 14.
