ITS Maintenance Outages & Reminders: Footprints, Campus Call down June 15; Cable TV out week of June 25; two-factor implementation continues

Database server updates will be affect Footprints and Campus Call during the scheduled maintenance window from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Jun. 15.

NOTE: Due to the release of vendor updates and patches outside ITS control, any university system may experience brief intermittent outages.  Because these updates may be released any time it is not possible to include them all in this list.

If you are not able to access a system during the maintenance hour, please wait a couple of minutes and try again.  If you continue to experience problems, please contact the ITS Help Desk.

Reminder: Two-factor authentication begins for Perceptive Content June 22

Two-factor authentication will be implemented for Perceptive Content at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Jun. 22.  To utilize two-factor authentication, you must enroll with Duo Security.  Instructions are posted in Security - Duo two-factor authentication resources . Additional information can be found in Security - Two-factor Authentication (Duo) FAQ . 

Also on the summer schedule for two-factor authentication: PASS (instructor role only), July 23 and Business Intelligence v12c (date TBD).

Cable TV upgrade coming; outage planned week of June 25

By Fall 2018, UW-Platteville will have new cable TV service.  To facilitate this upgrade, Executive-Broadband Communications will be on campus the week of June 25 to begin the installation.  Service will be disrupted throughout the week as the old system is dismantled and the new one is installed.  This disruption will not affect Rountree Commons or the Pioneer Haus.
