As part of a larger initiative to increase security of campus data, two-factor authentication will be implemented for the Instructor role in PASS beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, Jul. 23.

NOTE: This implementation does not require an outage. However, if you are logged into PASS when the implementation is completed, you will be prompted to verify your identity using your chosen method in Duo.
If you have Instructor access in PASS and have not already done so, you will need to enroll with Duo, the product UW-Platteville uses for two-factor authentication prior to July 23. Login at and follow the online instructions.

You will need to choose at least one compatible device to enroll: phone (cell or landline; for calls, text, or app) or tablet (for app). You may enroll more than one device if you’d like; in fact, this is recommended when possible.  If you do not have a phone or tablet, contact ITS Help Desk at 608.342.1400 or for options.
