ITS Update: Hardware Asset Audit opens for Fall 2018

It's October 2018 – do you know what that means? Time for the annual hardware asset audit! ITS is asking each staff and faculty member to submit the asset tag number for any computer (workstation, desktop, laptop, or tablet, including iPads*) that is assigned to you or that you are responsible for managing (e.g. check-out laptops). This inventory audit does not include classroom or lab machines.

*Tagging iPads is a relatively new initiative.  If you have an iPad that has not been tagged yet, please request one from the ITS Help Desk at helpdesk@uwplatt.edu.


Please complete the short Hardware Asset Audit form on the Help Desk home page and submit it by Friday, Oct. 19. 

When you log in, the system will automatically record your email address based on your username.  This allows us to more accurately track who has reported.  You may change the email address on the form if you are submitting information for someone else.
