How to setup Roku and Philo
This will give you ideas on how to connect your Roku or Roku TV to access Philo.
How to connect to Philo
1. You must use a Roku device to access Philo
2. Get your MAC address of Roku (Select Settings/Network (or System)/About).
3. Register Roku MAC address with ITS at https://go.uwplatt.edu/unsecure-wifi-registration
4. Connect by following one of the steps below
5. IMPORTANT**** You must add the PHILO EDU channel to your Roku to watch campus cable.

1. Register your Roku with ITS at https://go.uwplatt.edu/unsecure-wifi-registration
Connect the data port in your room to a network switch with network cable
Connect network switch to Roku with a network cable.
Connect Roku to TV with HDMI
Connect a network cable from the data port to the wireless router
Wi-Fi to Roku
Connect Roku to TV with an HDMI cable
*Roku Express is shown although any wireless Roku can be used
3. Register your Roku with ITS at https://go.uwplatt.edu/unsecure-wifi-registration
Connect a network cable from the data port to the wireless router
WIFI to your Roku TV
4. Connect data port from your room to your computer with a network cable
Connect the computer to your TV with an HDMI cable. Or you could use a display port to HDMI
Watch Philo EDU at uwplatt.philo.com. You must live in the residence hall and be on campus for the link to work.
5. Register your Roku with ITS at https://go.uwplatt.edu/unsecure-wifi-registration
