Zoom - Log in Using SSO (Single Sign On)

Process to log in to the Zoom desktop client using UW-Platteville credentials.

Changes are coming to UW-Platteville Zoom effective August 18, 2021. For more details see UW-Platteville Zoom Consolidation Changes

NOTE: If you have not yet activated your UW-Platteville Zoom account, or need to sign in through the Zoom web portal at uwplatt.zoom.us, please follow instructions at Zoom - Logging into your UW-Platteville account through the web portal 
  1. Open Zoom client from the Start menu and click the white "Sign In" button.

    Click Sign In

  2. Click "Sign In with SSO".  The SSO link may be in a different spot depending on if you on a UW-Platteville managed device or not.

  3. UW-Platteville managed devices should already be filled with "uwplatt".  For personal devices, enter "uwplatt" and click the "Continue" button.

  4. Your default web browser should open and provide you with the Duo Login window.  Enter your campus NetID (username only) and campus password then click "Login".  You may be prompted to open the zoom client from the browser.  Click OK and the browser should return you to the Zoom client.
