Web - Attach files to a page so people can download them

This document will show you how to attach files to a page so that they can be downloaded by users. When using this method, files will appear bulleted(•) at the bottom of the content; there is no flexibility. One can also attach a file as a link within the content, giving the steward control over where that link appears.

  1. Click on the “Attached Files” tab in the left side menu of the Edit Page screen.
    Attached Files
  2. Click “Choose File” and browse for the file you would like to upload.
    Choose File
  3. Choose the file you want and click the “Upload” button.
    Upload
  4. The file is now attached to the page.

When using this method, files will appear bulleted(•) at the bottom of the content; there is no flexibility. One can also attach a file as a link within the content, giving the steward control over where that link appears.

For a more in depth explanation of this process please take a look at the Layout Example or Video Tutorial provided on the Web Development page.
