Software - Adobe Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA)
Contract Information for Adobe Creative Suite
The ETLA Contract
UW System and Adobe signed a new Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA) on 11/14/2013. It gives most UW campuses the right to install and use Creative Cloud applications, Captivate, Presenter, and Photoshop Elements on UW-owned computers. Home Use rights are included also.
The contract is for three years. At the end of three years, if we do not sign another agreement, our license rights will revert to what they were before the ETLA began. Adobe products not available under the ETLA will still be for sale under the Adobe CLP.
Faculty and staff from participating institutions will soon be able to purchase Home Use Creative Cloud for $19.95. That is a one-year subscription. If at the end of one year, the faculty or staff person wants to continue using Creative Cloud, they would repurchase it for $19.95. Home Use Creative Cloud can only be installed on personally-owned computers but can be used for any non-commercial purpose.
The Home Use item will be available through WISC. We will limit the number of Home Use purchases to one per customer per year.
