Office 365 - Configure Mac Mail - IMAP

Configure Mac Mail for Office 365 with IMAP.

  1. Click on Launch Pad in your dock.



  2. Click on System Preferences



  3. Click on Internet Accounts



  4. Select "Add other account"



  5. Select "Add a Mail account" is selected and click "Create..."



  6. Enter your Full Name, UWP Email, and password. Then click "Create".



  7. Click Next again.



  8. Fill in the fields with the information below.

    Account Type: IMAP
    Mail Server: outlook.office365.com
    User Name: username@uwplatt.edu
    Password: Your password



  9. Fill in the fields with the information below.

    SMTP Server: smtp.office365.com
    User Name: username@uwplatt.edu
    Password: Your password



  10. Select the account you just created on the left. Then select Advanced.



  11. Change the port from to 993, then click OK.
