D2L: Reorder Discussion Forums and Topics

VERSION: 10.3 AND HIGHER

Discussions forums are collaborative areas to post, read and reply to threads on different topics. Topics provide a way to organize forums. Once forums and topics are created, it is possible to change the order of presentation.

REQUIRED:
  • Instructor access to a Desire2Learn Course with discussion forums and/or topics already created
STEPS TO FOLLOW:
  1. Log into Desire2Learn.
  2. Select a course.
  3. Click on More in the Navigation menu.
  4. Click Discussions.

  1. Click More Actions and select Reorder.

  1. Select the position in the list where you want each forum or topic to appear using the Sort Order drop-down list.
  2. Click Expand All if all forums and topics are not visible. Collapse All will return to a list of Forum titles.
  3. Click Save.
