Wireless - Connect to Eduroam Wireless Network
Eduroam is an international wireless network for higher education that allows users from one member school to connect to the secure wireless networks of other member schools using their own campus credentials.
Instructions for connecting to the Eduroam wireless network
As a Pioneer visiting another member school, you can log into that school's secure wireless network using your UW-Platteville email address and password. UW-Platteville account holders may also connect to the Eduroam wireless network on our campus and maintain the same access as our "UWPlatt" wireless network.
Eduroam members from other institutions who visit UW-Platteville may log into Eduroam using their own credentials. They will have the same access as our "UWGuest" wireless network without any bandwidth limits.
To connect to the Eduroam wireless network, select "Eduroam" when it is offered and enter your full UW-Platteville email address (email@example.com) and your campus password. This is similar to logging into Office 365.
