Canvas: Outcomes - Analytics and Data

After the outcomes have been added to Canvas and assessed, it is possible to get various levels of data reports on student achievement.

Single-instructor Course-level Outcomes Reports

To view the outcomes report for an individual student,
  1. Open People
  2. Select the student name [linked]
  3. When the side menu opens, click the linked student name again
  4. Choose Outcomes Report
To view the outcomes report for all students in the course, you can request the Outcomes report from the Canvas Admin. 
Use the DLE Reports request form to have a Canvas administrator run the report for you.
  • Be sure to provide the course URL
  • Be sure to specifically request the Outcomes Report for the course

General Education and Program-level Outcomes Reports

Multi-instructor/Multi-section Course-level Outcomes Reports
