Adding Course-Level Outcomes from an Specific College Outcomes Folder
Some program outcomes have been placed at the Institution Level, to download outcomes that have been placed there, see Adding General Ed and Program Outcomes.
Some department-level outcomes have been placed in the specific College subaccounts. You may use these directions to add those outcomes to your course.
1. From your course navigation bar, click "Outcomes."
2. Then, click "Find."
3. Next click, "Account Standards."
4. Select your College
5. Navigate to the folder or individual outcome to import into your course and select.
Note: There is no disadvantage to importing a folder if you only need one or two outcomes in the folder. Canvas will only report on outcomes that you align with an assessment.
6. Click Import at the bottom of the page.
NOTE: If your course outcomes for a multi-section, multi-instructor course are not listed in a folder, you may request that they be added via form.
