PASS CX - Dashboard Overview

An overview of the Campus Experience Dashboard - its menu and sub-menus, including links to pertinent KB docs to help facilitate knowledge and resolving questions.

1. Dashboard -
   Accessible by Applicant, Guest/Parent, Student, Advisor, Instructor, Staff, Staff Basic, Staff Full
   *main page of PASS CX, which holds the menu and widgets for all areas.
   
   
2. Class Information -
   Accessible by Public, Applicant, Guest/Parent, Student, Advisor, Instructor, Staff, Staff Basic, Staff Full
   *page contains links to:
   Browse Classes - A list view of classes offered in a particular term.  The only filters in this view is Term, Career and Subject.
   Course Catalog - A list of active courses, but not all are scheduled yet.  The list defaults to display all subjects; additional filters exist.
   Class Search - A way to immediately get to section level and contains the most filter options.  
   
   
3. Schedule -
   Accessible by Student, Guest/Parent, Instructor
   *displays/prints the user's daily, weekly, or monthly schedule in calendar or list views.
   
   
4. Enrollment -
   Accessible by Student
   *contains links to: 
   Planner - used to plan coursework for current and/or future terms.
   Plan by My Requirements - used to generation the Planner PDF.
   Enroll/Shopping Cart - used to search for, add, validate, and enroll in classes, among other things.
   Edit Enrollment - used to edit enrollment options.
   Drop Classes - used when dropping classes.
   Enrollment Dates - used to view their shopping cart appointments, enrollment appointments, and open enrollment dates.
   Swap Classes - used to swap classes.
   Schedule Builder - used to assist in building schedule.
   NSC Enroll Verify - used when enrollment verification is needed.
   Print Voter Enrollment - provides verification letter for voter enrollment.
   
   
5. Academics -
   *contains links to the following pages:
   Programs
       - Student access only 
       - displays the applicant/student's programs, regardless of status.    
   Test Scores
       - Applicant/Student access
       - displays any test scores brought in during application process (i.e., AP, ACT, WEMPT)
   Degree Progress
       - Student access only
       - displays student's degree progress and Academic Advisement Report (AAR).
   What-If
       - Applicant/Student access.
       - displays student's What-If report.
   Course List
       - Student access only
       - displays all courses taken
   View Unofficial Transcript
        - Student access only.
        - displays unofficial transcript, as well as providing PDF view/print.
   Grades
        - Student, Guest/Parent access
        - displays grades for term selected.
   Advisor Information
        - Student access only
        - displays advisor information.
   Advising Notes
        - Student access only
        - displays advisor information.
   Transfer Credit
        - Applicant, Student access
        - displays transfer credits.
   My Book List
        - Student access only.
        - displays on-campus, undergraduate student's most current book list, which is available only after completion of their Textbook Agreement task.
   My Books to be Returned
        - Student access only.
        - displays on-campus, undergraduate student's list of books that need to be returned to avoid an account hold.
   Request an Official Transcript
        - Student access only.
        - allows for student to request an official transcript.
   Current/Past Catalogs
        - Applicant, Student access
        - Opens new window to UW-Platteville Registrar's Catalog web page to view current and past academic catalogs.

   Scholarships (Platteville)
        - Applicant, Student, Guest/Parent access.

   Biographical Information - contains Names, Bio Info, and Ethnicity.

        - Adding/Updating an Address, Phone, or Email.

10. Manage Guests - 
    Accessible by Students
    *page gives users the ability to create guest accounts to allow their family and friends access to view and/or update their information.
    
    
11. Friends -
    Accessible by Student
    *page opens Friends module, which allows user to send, accept, and manage requests from other students for viewing each others schedules.
    
    
12. Class Roster -
    Accessible by Instructor
    *page allows users to view the students who are enrolled, dropped and waitlisted in the classes they are teaching. 
    
    
13. Grade Roster -
    Accessible by Instructor
    *page allows users to view and grade the students in the classes they are teaching.
    
    
14. View Advisees -
    Accessible by Advisor
    *page allows users to view the advisor view of the student center.
    
    
15. Look up Student -
    Accessible by Staff Basic, Staff Full
    *page allows users to view the staff view of the student center, similar to the Student Services Center in Full Site (PASS).
